No, because the asymptote is y=0y=0.

How about graph of 2-(1/2)*e^x?
Asymptote of y=2 is unaffected by factor of 1/2?

ex12ex\displaystyle e^x \rightarrow -\frac{1}{2}e^x

Asymptote is still y=0y=0.

12ex212ex\displaystyle -\frac{1}{2}e^x \rightarrow 2-\frac{1}{2}e^x

Asymptote moves up by 2.

Enlarging it by a factor of 1/2 gives 1-(1/4)e^x.

i.e. the asymptote is at y=1 now, not y=2.
