Leeds Uni - Chem. Eng. course question???

I've been looking at making my firm and insurance chocies for uni, and when looking over the Leeds offer I happened to notice that their offer didn't specifically say that General Studies wasn't allowed as an A-level qualification, despite my other offers saying so. When I checked the entry requirements on their website ( http://www.engineering.leeds.ac.uk/c...l-engineering/ ) it doesn't exclude it either!

Does this mean that General Studies is fair game to use in my offer if I get an A/A* in it?

Unlikely. They specifically exclude it for Mech Eng. Probably just an oversight.
