That's why we've started straight away I guess haha

Yeah, honestly I found the course very short. We've completed it and now we're just doing past papers and revision for it. I can almost see that A** lol

How long is left until your first exam?

Aah just finished B1. I feel both a combination of relief and dread, for the future units and subjects await me.

My first exam is IGCSE English which is on the 3rd of May. It's the only IGCSE i have which is quite strange, all my others are normal.

Congrats haha

Oh so not long left then. I'm sure your revision has been satisfactory so far

I'm not really pressured for language, I've mostly been getting high A's so far, and an A is the highest you get. I'm not sure if you know, but you can only get an A* once they total up your coursework, speaking and listening and exam marks.

Do you have any advice on revising further maths, seeing as you're quite confident in it

No, I'm not very familiar with IGCSE English haha

Not a lot of specific subject revision for Further Maths haha

I guess just past papers. You might also want to talk to your teacher about the concepts which you cannot fully comprehend or don't understand. Since it's Further Maths, the topics are harder and can be best explained by your teacher.

I will hopefully be starting my own past papers next week after these notebooks are complete but I've already done so many in class haha

We are being prepared to become drones of the working world lol

No, I have absolutely no clue haha

What's the most amount of exams you have in one day?

 Lol
It would be 3 , Physics unit 2 and 3 , and geography unit 3
You?

Also have a 2 hour Further Maths exam on the day of prom :/ haha

Hey, regarding your subject notebook, how did you differentiate between important info and general info? It's quite hard to differentiate them as, since the information is purely from the spec, I would think that they are all important info.

Mostly highlighting key words/specialist language

An example, in my Biology notes, I have highlighted names of hormones (Oestrogen, FSH, LH) or highlighted neurones (Sensory, Relay, Motor)

Thank you haha

I'm sure you'll do great with your exams

Yeah, the specification does work well for the most part, especially when coming back to it for reference during the exam period!

My Business Studies exam board is OCR

For Business, I will be taking notes from the specification and my textbook as well as completing as many past papers as possible. I have already completed quite a few so I'll look over them again and review the mark schemes

For Poetry, I would say comparing tone, language and structure are the main points.

This has been a really useful video for me during English exams/mocks. This one is on A* responses to comparing poetry (Edexcel)

Be sure to check it out: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AkiKO7l2Pe4

Okay thank you so much! :h:

Cheers. I hope it's possible to do a subject a day xD. But do you think its better to do a whole subject in a day, or do many different subjects in one day. Also what size is your notebook out of curiosity?

Sunday 27th March

Today - Wrote all of the B1 specification in my Biology subject notebook. As I only started at 2pm I could not finish the Biology notebook. I have a feeling the sciences will prove the most time-consuming of all of my subjects.

Tomorrow - I plan to finish the Biology notebook and move on to Business Studies which will not prove very challenging time wise. I may possibly finish the Business Studies notebook as I am waking up at 9am to make a start.

I also will not start the past papers until all of my subject notebooks have been completed. I predict I will complete all of the notebooks by the end of this coming week if I am working productively and efficiently

Hey! I LOVE your blog! Please can you post a pic of an example page so we know what you mean by "all of the B1 specification". How did you write all your B1 notes in one night?!

Which exam board are you with for business?

Yeah, I hope it is too! haha

For me, I would say devoting your whole attention to one subject is best, making sure not to move on to another subject until you can fully understand the concepts of each subject.

120 pages, roughly A5 size
12A*'s Nice,

Am in year 10 and the new maths and english GCSE seems a lot harder (well that's what everyone is saying)

Lol same size.
Is it just me hearing this bloody weather? xD. When I finally feel that I'm gaining willpower...the weather distracts me

Thanks! haha

Yeah, I'm not sure to be totally honest. I presume they are as they usually become harder every year.
