How to lose fat on my belly

I'm average build everywhere except on my belly which is really fat unfortunately, probably due to eating too much.

What is the best way to lose this fat apart from eating more healthily?

Obviously exercise but what type of exercise, jogging? As I have been doing some jogging and building up a sweat but have not noticed much of a difference to be fair.

you can't spot reduce weight. However, jogging is a good exercise for losing weight

You don't need to exercise to lose weight, just eat less.
Download the app sworkit there are exercises to help lose weight in all the areas you are trying to lose weight
Weight loss is largely done by changing your diet, however exercise can make you feel really good whilst you are losing weight, which can spur you on more.

Eat a caloric deficit, you can use an app like MFP. Increasing your exercise will help too

have you tried videos on youtube - there are some amazing YouTubers that has videos on that

or you can also look at "blogilates" youtuber

Its calorific deficit. Yoy can lift weights and do ab exerises to preserve muscle which will help you get smaller, but its deficit that gets rid of the overlying fat.
Join MFP and start counting those calories and weighing your food.


You might need to change the foods ou eat to more filling ones and if you exercise you cna eat more, but its a lot of exercise to burn 500 cals.

Ive recently joined the gym and I have a ab workout, after just 1 week im already seeing a large difference. I do three sets of this:
30 crunches
20 butterfly kicks
30 heel touches
30 cross crunches (15 each side)
30 crunch cycles*
1 min plank
30 supermen**

* you hold crunch and move your legs in a cycle motion
** lie on your front, with your hands behind your head and lift your head and feet off the ground, this helps stretch out the muscles ready for your next set
