Not sure about frowning upon but I know the way of teaching is different and more theoretical than clinical

Yeah, I think it would be quite different. It might give you a break from your run of the mill subjects and typical paper questions. No, Economics but I do still like the thought of Medicine. Even though my heart is set on IB, Medicine is always in the back of my mind haha

My A-level choices are Maths, Further Maths, Physics and Economics and I plan to read Economics at Cambridge or Princeton. What about you?

Mines is Biology,Chemistry,Maths and Economics
I also want to do medicine because i've always loved science since i was small
I want to do Medicine at Oxford/Cambridge or Queen Mary's

Wow so your a maths person wow

I had pretty good mock results (8A*s and 2As) but I have only started revising yesterday. Due to the unmotivation and doubts whether "it's all even worth it" I am at a disadvantage compared to my peers who a) take 7-8 subjects and b) have actually been revising for the past week.

I'm not worried about the sciences and the languages or maths, I can cope with those. History and geography are what's killing me right now since I have to memorise a TON of case studies etc...

How about you? :P

Mines good
I predicted A* and A's so i have to work hard
Aw Bless
Same for Physics , i never seem to understand forces and it angers me
How long are you planning to revise for?
I am planning to do 8-9 hours you ?
Do the Specifications contain all the detail you need for the exam? so is it pointless in me writing out my revision guide?

You've got high aspirations like me I guess.

I think the revision guides are written with the specification in mind, so either one would be really helpful.

Well I am gettjng my wisdom teeth removed this Friday, so I have 3 days to properly revise. I'll most likely do 6 hours a day, maybe a bit more. Don't want to overwork myself. Today I already did a topic in history, geography, and organic chemistry (and it was like 3 hours of studying only).

I'm efficient today so I might have the evening off :P

 I've worked for 5 hours but I've had few breaks so it would be about 4 hours and 15 minutes ish
How weird, I am doing organic chemistry as well and i am doing past papers on C3
How many hours do you work on a weekday? What time do you start?

Also, when are you going to start past papers? I don't wanna start too early as they're limited but when are you starting?

Hope you've had a good day!

No, for both.
When you see the spec say something like "candidates should know what X is" and the spec doesn't tell you what X is, go to the revision guide as it would explain it

For most of biology, 95 percent of the spec tells you what you need to know anyway

Nice job

What subject are you on now then?
Btw...I found out what learner I am just from those notebooks
For ages I have been doing revision cards with just lines of words and no pictures to revise, and I got fairly average results

With the notebook, everything that I used diagrams for stayed in my memory.
E.g, I couldn't remember much about the carbon cycle because I just wrote words

I can remember almost everything about Darwin's theory of evolution via natural selection, just because i drew a picture of Darwin xD

So again thanks alot, using your tactic helped me to find out what I should do. I think from now on I'm gonna do visual methods. Good luck man!
