Does anyone else find it kind of annoying when musicians change the gender of the people in the songs they're singing? I get that they might want to 'fit' it more to themselves but I don't see the point?

I know, and I feel it's kind of insulting to original intention of the song, also it can make it sound off you know? I mean, I'm gay but I sing songs about guys all the time lol
