Really? I don't think so.

Bath, St Andrews, Leicester, Loughborough, Lancaster and Royal Holloway. All non-RG Uni's, all significantly better than the two you mentioned.

Edit: I should also add to this, that some of the Uni's I have mentioned above are WAY better for some courses than RG Uni's.

Further Edit: Exeter removed because I didn't realise it was RG, however point still stands for other Uni's mentioned.

In my experience, Warwick is highly overrated.

I think Nottingham is underrated.

My bad, I'll remove that from the original post. My point still stands for the other Universities though.
My opinion is that warwick and Oxbridge (contentious I know) are highly overrated, whilst Nottingham university is underrated. Then again, my experience and research is only for Psychology and life sciences.

Along with places like Bath and Sussex it is a popular choice for people who didn't quite make it into Russell Group unis.

Hence why almost 30% of their intake each year are privately educated students.
