Update 30/03/2016

I haven't been as productive today and yesterday as I was on Monday, but I think I'm still doing well and keeping reasonably on top of everything. Yesterday I did:
- 30 mins revision on 'A Streetcar Named Desire'
- 30 mins revision on 'The Great Gatsby'
- 30 mins revision on the influence of the Vikings on the English Language
- 30 mins revision on the development of American English
- 30 mins revision on Russian History

Today I did:
- 30 mins revision on American Civil Rights for workers between 1900-1914
- 30 mins revision on American Civil Rights for workers in WW1

I would have liked to have done more today, but I actually went outside and socialised  I won't be doing much of anything tomorrow or the day after because it's my 18th tomorrow so I might be a bit ...tired the next day!

Alternative ways to revise

I've recently got really into calligraphy and brush lettering, so I've been finding it really helpful to paint all of my quotes..?!

(It also looks great on my wall)

Making them stand out more, as well as having the standard post it notes, draws your attention to them more and helps me learn them quicker

Do you have any weird revision methods?

Such a useful blog; really handy revision tactics etc! Might even be enough to get me to start actually revising :P

Thanks! :awesome: I'm glad it helped!

Aw happy early birthday :h:

Thank you! :hugs:

I was initially a bit annoyed that I wouldn't have any free time on my birthday to revise, but I guess I can justify having a revision-free day for that :colondollar:

Some of my friends have been before and they said it was great - I'll probably be awful at it but it should be fun

How are you revising History?

Writing out all of the facts and dates for each time period and factor on flashcards, and learning them by repetition and testing myself
