Do universities need to be told about failed outcomes.

Hi, first of all I'm new here, so apologies of this is the wrong place.

Basically I have failed a resit on an outcome to one of my subjects (AH Maths) and, despite my school applying to the sqa to allow me a second resit, do I need to tell universities I've applied to? The main reason I'm concerned is that since they could revise any offers they made I may not get in so easily. My original conditions did not depend on maths for any of my universities, so if it just counts as if I failed the exam I will still have every chance of meeting my conditions.
Thank you in advance.

Yes you have to tell them and ucas that you are resitting an exam.
