BTEC is a different qualification to GCSE, they tend to have a more vocational/practical focus rather than academia. I don't know much about the boards but I have a feeling it's edexcel, anyone else know?

I'm an undergrad actually but I thought I would post a reply to your first post since nobody else had,
but my gcses were: maths, engish language , english literature, triple science, history, geography, german, ICT and further maths

BTECs are all offered by Edexcel. BTECs aren't GCSEs but if you think it is one then it is probably a BTEC First
