But seriously, looking at IB targets is you best bet. Oxbridge, LSE, Imperial, UCL, Warwick.

I'm deciding whether to go to lse or warwick. its such a hard decision

LSE will be better for your career and it's in London. Warwick will be a different environment and London has better career opportunities.

Warwick is NOT top 6 outside of its maths/econ courses. Hardly, actually.

LSE is far more "prestigious" than Warwick in general but depending on the course you're likely to enjoy Warwick more. If you want to work in IB LSE is definitely better.

It's an IB target. That's all that matters.

What would you suggest in no. 6, then?

And...? It being an IB target means what?

Nothing in specific - I generally tend to prefer brackets of universities (I would not for example place UCL in the same bracket as ICL and perhaps LSE).

Not sure whether career wise is is worth going through all the pain with lse when i could go to warwick. how big is the advantage of going to lse over warwick for ib?

Being an IB target has nothing to do with being a "top 5" uni, Warwick is far from top 5.

Means if it has enough prestige for IB, it should be more than good enough for the vast majority of other sectors. Also, op wants to get into ib.

If you don't like LSE then go Warwick, they're both targets but in terms of overall prestige (and that is for any career) LSE is better, for IB it's the slightly better target.

Lol... doesn't work like that. Its prestige for IB emanates from its strong maths/econ courses. It isn't as highly regarded for law/consulting (although still well regarded of course).

Yeah, which most people apply to online.. LSE and Warwick grads go into similar London jobs.

Barely any.. I think they're both the most represented, even more so than Oxbridge/UCL/Imperial.

LSE has the high prestige against Warwick and the university is more specialised in what OP wants to go in than Warwick. But then it will cost more to live in London unless OP already lives in London?
