Their whole education system is based on exams which students study really hard for. They'll often stay behind at school until 10pm working.

How well have you been accepted/assimilated by faculty and peers?
Saitama City (Greater Tokyo). I know enough Japanese to be able to understand everything at school and not use any English in my daily life.

Quite well. I speak Japanese which definitely helps. It's difficult to fully assimilate when you're not Japanese though

Yeah :biggrin: I didn't watch much tv until recently, but they're actually quite entertaining and less random than people think they are xD

そうでもない...Not really. It's mainly just revision for tests, but since I'm going to university in the UK I don't need to take them seriously lol
