What uni and course? Where do you live lol?

Well I've not offically firmed my unis yet because I've still not heard from some. But definitely firming Robert Gordon uni in Aberdeen for Mental Health Nursing. And I live in Manchester, worse place in England I've ever experienced, even people who I spoke to at the uni said they came to Manchester once and said 'never again'.. pretty much sums everything up right there 😊😊😊. Over 360 miles away but oh my god I cannot wait.

My firm is for Journalism, Media & Sociology at Cardiff  and my insurance is International Politics & Intelligence Studies at Aberystwyth.

That's a mix of things!! I didn't think about an insurance course, just insurance universities. Good luck!!
Yes!!

Need to meet my damn offer though

How can I be excited for anything in life when I'm doing Maths, Physics and Biology but I need A*AA?

Tbh why even live? I wish I was a girl so i could just whore myself out instead of revising constantly. I bet I'd be a great pornstar

Good luck!! I'm thinking of becoming a groupie instead of a barrister lol fml

I love the idea of being able to get into Oxbridge but I couldn't go there, the expectations, pressure and - at times - snobbiness there puts me off.

I feel you.

And the difficulty of work and intensity of work. 8 week terms will pack a lot.

I convinced myself that I won't get my uni offers so all the excitement is gone.

You probably will, just got to revise, what you looking at doing?

Me apart from at AS. I got a bloody idea of all the stuff I'm gonna be taking and buying on my weekly shop. Get us to uni...

Uh yeah it was kinda complicated... I originally applied for Social Analytics & Politics at Cardiff but emailed them to change it post-offer to the other course. I'm still considering whether to email Aber to ask them to change it too.

Thanks, best of luck to you too!

Exactly! I would only apply to be able to say 'I get an offer from Oxford/Cambridge' but then that would be a wasted offer and wasted option.

I feel like I'd drop out if I were to go to Cambridge

Maybe we're just being a bit hard on ourselves? Especially as exam season is approaching and the pressure is getting to us
YES! I'm a Year 12 too and I'm ridiculously excited. I need more motivation to get through my AS Levels though!!

You know, the 'I've gotta leave but I'll miss youuu :cry2: gal.'

Edexcel  yes, I think it's possible to pull it back between now and exam time. A C is a good indicator, it shows that you're not completely struggling and you've got the potential, but you just need to figure out where you're losing marks, work on it and do loads of practice. What exam board are you with/what modules are you doing?

I'm praying, I lost a god damn mark on my S1 mock cause I didn't write the word 'key' on my stem and leaf diagram!! With MEI and doing c1, c2 and s1!

Ohh right, when doing mocks you should make a list of stuff to never forget for certain questions, remember it and write it down on your paper at the start and again, practice makes perfect.
