Thanks so much for this. I always struggle when it comes to revision. But this really helped. Any ideas how I could revise a book called Jane Eyre. It's in the new curriculum. But I don't know what I should revise.

For English Lit, I mainly used youtube videos. Literally type in the poem and find a an analysis and it will give you more then enough information you would need for getting an A*. If you were to do a an essay question, I would recommend you giving it to your teachers to mark. It's much more helpful getting someone who is familiar with the mark scheme and a specialist marking it then yourself.

That's exactly what I did. I had to revise 9 poems and I watched videos on youtube. Which is why I got an A on the exam.

To revise a book you could instead of thinkings its for work just read it as a fun activity.. This leads your brains to focus more and and then you will feel like reading the book and finish it ASAP.
also instead of hating or thinking its too hard just think its easy and love it..

Glad to help:smile:
When revising a book, it's mainly your understanding of it and your analysis of key quotes of the most important chapters. I would certainly go through the book and highlight key quotes.
