Say if you get B in Maths and Further maths AS level is it possible to get an A* next year overall?

So 480 UMS is an A* right?
Maths
480-180 = 300 UMS
300/4 3 AS Modules + 1 A2 Module
75UMS each paper about a B

Further Maths
480-270 = 210UMS
210/3 AS Modules
70 UMS each paper about a B

Is this Correct

im too high to know what the f*ck you did there.

assuming B is 70%, A* is 90% and AS/A2 counts towards 50% of your grade:

(0.7 + z) / 2 = 0.9
z = 1.1

so you need a 110% average in A2 to get an A*. good luck brother.

I thought its 480/600 UMS for an A*
However you have to achieve 180 or 270 in the A2 module for maths and further maths
oh i have no idea. 480/600 is 80%; when i did my a-levels that was the boundary for an A (there was no A* but i just assumed this would be the next 10% up).

it seems that you may only need a 90% average brother.
