Human Rights and Terrorism (dissertation)

Hi all,

I'm currently writing my dissertation on analysing the balance between human rights and protecting them same people from terrorism in the UK.

I have already got some ideas myself, but i was just wondering if people could suggest what topics they think should be included in this project.

Thanks in advance if you can throw some suggestions at me!

You should definitely look at the case of Kadi in regard to the ECJ and the UN Security Council. You could tie this in with the Brexit campaign too if you wanted to look at the political side of human rights and what leaving could potentially do (a) to our human rights, and (b) to our laws on terrorism.
