why is hollywood giving women hyper masculine roles in films?

what with mad max, star wars and rogue one

since when were there female warlords who fought on bloody battlefields?
While I feel that no one should have a part in a movie because Oh we need Gay/black/woman/whatever person in the film so it is diverse, but a well written charterer male of female is great, I mean watch kill bill and you will see that a well written and directed female role can be played amazingly. While there is some situations that you would not want a certain gender or race due to historical accuracy it does not matter in movies like these.

Some women are stronger/faster than some men. Besides, with the obesity crisis going on, just being in shape makes you stronger and faster than most of the men/women in this country regardless of your gender.

Nah that's not it. They just know many men find it sexy when a woman is physically fit because she's an athletic fighter or heroine, and has the scenes where she's in tight ripped up clothing, sweaty and dirty like she just crawled out of a rapist's basement. Sex sells so sell that.
