Yeah, they were great as they were, so why remake them?
Yes, I agree entirely but I must also point out that arguably there used to be a lot of creepy and weird content for kids in the old days, and it's basically the same now but they're called Hannah Montana, Lady Gaga, Rihanna, etc. Actually, I'd prefer those four creepy colourful fetishists to today's pop culture any time.
