Linear programming:

When it's e.g

3x + 4y > 360
Or
1/2x>5y

How do you know what area to shade off?

I would rearrange the equation to you typical y = mx + c and draw it in. Now I would choose a random point below the line and look at the x value and y value and see if they fit the inequality.

What do you mean?
So with 3x+4y=360
y=-3/4X+90

What do you mean by choosing a line?
always get the y on the left of the arrow ?

once that is in place you just look for

>....only allowed above the dotted line

<.... only allowed below the dotted line

etc

yes.

let's say you had y > 3x + 4. You put your pencil below the line at x = 2, read off the y value and see if it's > 10. Shade accordingly.
