They don't need it as long as the Labour continues to work for them. Then when the idiots that run this party realise that they have been duped, it will be too late. The Muslim Brotherhood will get MPs and entire cities.

Unfortunately I agree with this. Ever since Labour organised gender-segregated party meetings just to appease Muslim voters I was determined I was not going to vote for Labour again.

The rise of Islam in Europe is the single biggest threat to women's rights and LGBT rights. I have so many gay friends and most of them don't get this. It's very frustrating.

>Muslims believe in **** ideas
>This gets reported in surveys
>Muslims get angry and join ISIS

What an outstanding group of citizens we have on our hands.

You can't just generalisers while group of people based in a minority who have misinterpreted their religion, Muslims are people too and I'm sure bit all of them are in agreement with beheading people etc because it goes against the Quran- but when people like you suggest that all Muslims believe in that they feel alienated and turn to people who are professionally trained in brainwashing them and grooming them-Isis
Not sure if you're trolling or being serious.

You didn't answer my question tho, why is it your business ?

That's how the Holocaust happened.

]First they came for the Socialists, and I did not speak out—
Because I was not a Socialist.

Then they came for the Trade Unionists, and I did not speak out—
Because I was not a Trade Unionist.

Then they came for the Jews, and I did not speak out—
Because I was not a Jew.

Then they came for me—and there was no one left to speak for me.

Yeah like that's going to happen when 96% of Britain isn't Muslim.

Due to much higher birth rates than white British women and on the assumption that immigration from the Muslim world continues at today's pace it is possible that by 2051 there could be as many as 26 million Muslims in the UK making up 40-50% of the population.

http://www.thecommentator.com/article/5632/uk_muslim_population_of_26_million_by_2051

The day when homosexuals are lynched from the jibs of mobile cranes in the UK may be closer than we think. Maybe 50 years from now that unsavoury speculation could be a reality.
No you're right, I haven't. Please elaborate, I'm interested in your experience with these people.
I would argue that attitudes towards LGBT individuals are a bit more complex than simply Islam or the Quran. The Bible has explicit verses calling homosexuality an abomination, which clearly have inspired anti-LGBT persecution in countries like Uganda, but at the same time, such verses have not stopped certain Christian denominations such as the Quakers from accepting LGBT individuals.

I would argue that there is room for acceptance of LGBT people within Islam, and there are pro-LGBT interpretations of Islam in existence. I'm not going to pretend that such interpretations are followed by the majority, as that would clearly be a lie. But there is room within Islam for a more progressive interpretation, and so ultimately I believe the interpretation is just as important as the text itself.
Thanks. It's nice to see how some of us Muslims/Non-Muslims or Theists/Athiests (etc.) can have civilized debates and discussions without ultimately resorting to insulting and aggravating one another.

This is pretty worrying for gay people. I would understand a poll if half of British Muslims felt homosexuality is wrong in line with their beliefs, but this goes a step further and half are saying they also want it outlawed.

Is the glass Half full or half empty?

"Terrorists are actually the ones who obey the Qu'ran word for word. In that sense they're better muslims than the rest of you" absolutely disagree with your statement. Terrorist who kill innocent people are committing one of the major sins in slam. There's a verse in the Quran that states a Muslim should defend their religion like in a war or something but you need to understand that some extremist misinterprete the Quran to a whole new level

Stop cherry picking.

There are at least 109 Qu'ranic verses that call Muslims to war with nonbelievers that have absolutely nothing to do with defending the religion.

wow I have no idea where you got that from, read the Quran verses carefully instead of getting answers off the net 👍🏾
I strongly urge all of you to watch this:

This is why you shouldn't blindly trust any poll or survey that gets published.

It will take one or two terrorist attacks before they open their eyes.

It should have been full. So it's half empty.

Which in this case is a good thing, we want to empty that glass and it's getting there. Asked this 10 years ago and you'd be somewhere in the 90% figure

I'm absolutely not spending my spare time reading the Qu'ran. I've got better things to do. I would rather have a root canal. Besides, Post 269 lists a bunch of them. You read them.

No, precisely. Young Muslims are more radical than the elderly ones.

Considering Muslims only make up about 5% of the UK, I don't think the LGBT community should really be worried. Gay marriage has recently been introduced here, I doubt they'll abolish it and outlaw homosexuality that quickly (not that it's going to happen at all).

True. The issue is really on a smaller scale, particularly hate crimes, I think we can all agree you can only commit a homophobic crime if you are homophobic and holding homophobic beliefs usually makes somebody a homophobe.

Well, claiming another person is homophobic, while the person accused denies it, is heavily subjective. What exactly qualifies as homophobic beliefs?

And by 'empty' you mean having full acceptance of LGBTs, or getting the entire Muslim community to unilaterally detest them?

Yes to #1, so the people who think it should be outlawed disappear. I think you also have to remember how times have only recently changed, it's not like homosexuality has been legal forever in the USA and UK, a lot of civil liberties have only come to the western world recently
Wtf? Where in the UK is this?
