Extra qualifications.

Hey,I'm a current year 10 GCSE student.I would like to study medicine at a top Uni later on.
I do several extracurriculars however i heard out of school qualification are valued by uni's.
Is this true?
If so which ones are the best to do?
how would i go about doing those?
Thanks.

AQA Bacc - http://www.aqa.org.uk/programmes/aqa-baccalaureate (This is something to do at A-Level).

Take up at hobby (if you haven't already), anything you do away form school (that isn't directly linked to what you want to do) is a bonus.
