I had been with my partner for a couple of years, and so when I went away from my partner just after my 16th she was pretty aware of what was happening. Her response was to redecorate my room (with the help of my grandma, auntie and younger sister) and get another key cut for the lock so that it would officially be both mine and my partners room (he stayed over most nights anyway to help with my anxiety). I have been very lucky and I am very grateful for my relationship with my mum.

My mum thinks I lost my virginity a lot later on in life than I did, she saw a message off my FWB asking if we needed a condom and then she thinks he was my first. Lol, I didn't have the heart to tell her the truth.

I'm not sure my mum knows when. I hope she thinks it was later than it was. I got into a long relationship at 14 and I can't remember when she told me to go on the pill but it must have been about a year later. Thinking about what my mum knows about my sex life is very weird.
