hey I'm stuck between applying for eastwood, westwood and norwood, could someone possibly give me the pros and cons of each? I'm leaning towards Norwood as its 7-11 people and next to the library, but the potential noise from the SU is putting me off :frown: Is it that big a deal or nah?

It didn't give me an option to get the large ensuite rooms at woodland court, but i applied at 10. Is this because it is already filled up?

What does it mean awaiting verification? How do I verify it?

If you apply to the Quads and you get an eat/drink card, can the credit be carried forward to the next years if all the credit is not used?

Hi there!

I'm a current first year Computer Science student at Bath.

I don't believe credit can be carried on towards the next academic year based upon what my friends with catered accommodation have told me.

The library card is wiped of credit at the end of the year when admin goes on to remove second years' access to first years' student accommodation.

However it may be worth get in touch with the accommodation team on +44 (0)1225 383111 or [email protected]

Hope this helps!

Hi there!

I'm a current first year Computer Science student at Bath.

I currently live in Wolfson Terrace, Westwood. I currently live with 9 other people in my flat. It all depends on what you wish to get out of your university experience!

If you are more inclined to go to all the SU events and find being close to the library a pro, then choose Norwood,, but I personally chose Westwood over Norwood because I preferred the idea of being away from the noisy SU (especially on their clubbing nights of Wednesday and Saturday) which put me off.

There is still a great sense of people wanting to go out in my flat, and I find I'm actually situated in quite a nice spot - more of my lectures are on the west side of campus and I'm only a 3 minute walk from the library.

What I would try and remember is that Bath is a fairly compact campus anyway, so your choice of accommodation, if close they are together, shouldn't really be based on proximity to places, as there is such little difference.

For further clarification if you need it, feel free to get in touch with the accommodation team on +44 (0)1225 383111 or [email protected]

Hope this helps!

I have a question, i may sound stupid. Have any of you registered for accommodation yet? Are we only allowed to register after 9.00am tomorrow? I know its a 2 part process so we first register then apply, but do we apply before 9.00 tomorrow or after?

Thank you to anyone who answers

I applied at 9.15 and I couldn't see an option for large rooms then!
