What makes the york college different to other univerisities

Hi everyone! I am looking at firming York university but I was looking at the college system and I was wondering what makes it different to other universities as it seems like it is similar to just halls of residences?

While residences are located within our Colleges, you will find that there is a lot more to get involved with than just living there. Have a look at our College life page to see what you can do as a member of a college while you are at York.
