If downvoting was implemented on here, what user would you think would stop posting?

None because then i think it becomes a badge of honour.

Also it wouldnt work becayse people would go for he poster rathr than what they say. Upvoting doesnt work either imo.

2)downvoting them makes them have REALLY low rep

3)having REALLY low rep is unique and attracts attention albeit wrong

2) trolls and attention seekers want attention, having a 'unique form of rep' known as neg rep to be implemented will allow them to earn neg rep instead of the usual rep instead

3)hence they will keep being trolls/attention seekers

There was negging up till a couple of years ago, back when you could lose your sweet sweet green gems :moon:
Ask Dalek1099 about downvoting and gems. He has plenty of experience.

I'd genuinely be on my way to 12 gems if I hadn't gone through a year of being negged and having all the reps I got cancelled out by downvotes :lol:
