DJ Premier is so irrelevant now and dusty.

He will only be remembered for being on illmatic.

And not the six albums he put out with Gang Starr? Come on.

Of your list OP, I rate Dre, RZA, Primo and Pete Rock the highest. I voted for RZA just cos personally I love his sound.

^ That. Although I usually skip Lots of Lovin.
Smh
I voted preemo, mainly cause I love gangstarr and have listened to a lot of preemo before. I rate basically all of the others, too. J Dilla, Dre and RZA come close, in my opinion too. Have heard one album with Madlib, which was sick, but haven't heard much else. Am not a huge Kanye West fan so can't really comment on him as a producer.

Give Common's album 'Be' a listen, Kanye produced every track apart from two. It's an incredible album

You need to do your homework.

You know when you hear "Mustard on the beat hoe", the beat is going to be lit. So you know he should be on the list his a future hall of famer.

DJ Khaled is more recognised for his media personality but his so under rated when it comes to his production skills.

Is that what Mustard says? Honestly thought it was "Put it on a beat".

Won't declare who's the best producer but I have to agree that Mustard's beats are always on point, better than the rap half the time

Mustard's got better as of recent, he's been more experimental and moved into EDM sounding tracks

He's no where near the best oat at the moment though
