Anyone heard anything? Any replies to emails?
Yes, have had it confirmed by Gwynne that locations have not yet been considered so the 200 offers are basically the top 200 performing candidates. All positivity about my provisional offer has now been replaced by dread.

Do you guys mind posting the email you've received?
Thank you for your e-mail. You will initially only be considered for the locations you have indicated and the location you will be offered will be determined by where you are placed on the order of merit list. If your only location is London then you will be offered London only if you are high enough up the order of merit.
So looks like there wont be reshuffling to accomodate all of the top 200..will only go by order of merit..if ur location is filled looks like you dont get a place!
Any statistics from previous years or even better, this year, on how many places each location is taking? I'm only concerned with Stratford but others would be good for the others too.

La haine im the same i'm after stratford but dont think there are any places for stratford atm. It's only euston i believe and then we should transfer to stratford over the next 3-4 years once the stratford building has been confirmed.

I think they will offer you a location that you haven't listed first, though may not be useful for those who can only go to the one location they've put down.

I'm not sure if this is a) of any consolation or b) true (?) but my AC manager said there was a 100% success rate last year of people obtaining a place in one of their locations. So fingers crossed!

Oooh, you sure about this? I could have swore I saw Stratford and not Euston listed somewhere along the process but it's hazy so possibly just a figment of my imagination. Jesus, Euston for a while would be even more amazing as I'm coming in from outside London for my commute and coming into Euston to get to Stratford.

Christ, it's all set up for the mother of all disappointments.

London locations are:

Central - Euston/Bush House
Greater - Croydon/ Surbiton

I took a picture of my location sheet on my phone haha

A lot of the staff in Bush House/Euston Tower will eventually end up in Stratford. At least thats the plan. Croydon regional center is supposed to open first though.

Do you think those at Bush House/Euston would be given the option of going to Croydon vs. Stratford? I live SW of London and getting to Stratford would take a heck of a long time.

Not really, you generally move with your team. Reasonable Daily Travel to work is 60 mins, in london though some consider it to be 90 mins.

I'm sure I saw some Q&As about what is considered reasonable daily travel when they made the announcements about the regional centres, I'll see if I can find it because I thought it was 90 minutes for London officially.

Not unless theres been a recent change in policy as officially there was only one RDT set. However 90 minutes for London is generally considered reasonable, however it depends on your individual circumstances.
