For a four unit A level (400 ums total, 200 at AS and 200 at A2)
You need a total of 320 ums for an A and 280 for a B
Subtract what you got at AS and then divide by 200 (the ums available at A2)
That tells you the %ums you need overall for that subject to get that grade
Edit: in your post you say marks, make sure you use ums not raw marks (although I did AQA AS geog and from what I remember you probably are talking in ums, not raw marks? Because it was 66/120 for an A on unit 1)
