Choosing between offers (How did you/ How will you choose)

Hiya

At the moment I am trying to make my final decision between universites and I am really struggling! I want to know how others are making that choice and based on what critera?
Ultimately is it just a good feeling about a uni which makes you choose it or is based on something else?

I think my issue is made worse by the fact the courses im choosing between are different (Quite different) and that all the offers are unconditionals so whatever I choose I WILL be going there :s-smilie:

would really appreciate any advice/experience lol

thanks

I chose the uni that i felt most comfortable at when i visited, i dont want to spend 3 years at a place that didnt make me feel at ease. And the specification for the degree was also what i wanted compared to some of the others

Good luck

You need to consider now which course you prefer, along with looking at accommodation, the campus and the local area.

Hiya
thanks for your advice

I feel that i am getting to the point of over-analysing the whole thing which is making me more confused haha! But ill try to rethink it one last time!
Don't worry about what accomodation for first year is like, honestly you're there for a year, and it's the people in it that make an accomodation good or bad in my experience. Think about the place the uni is in, you have to enjoy the place you're living, dont just go on course, but if you know one course is definitely better for you that should be a real factor.
I had the same thing with unconditional offers, I picked the one with the better course ofr what i wanted out of my degree and in a good party city over one that was higher in the league tables but had no nightlife and was not focused on what i was interested in specialising in later on.
Don't let friends or family sway you just go with your gut, chances are, you'll have the time of the life wherever you end up!
Goodluck!
You are going to be spending three years at this university so it needs to be a course that truly excites you and makes you want to push yourself academically to progress yourself. I ended up choosing a university that wasn't even close to my insurance option let alone firm purely because the staff were so friendly and at my interview I saw everything I want to get from my time at university.

Its all down to your preferences, I would for the most part ignore university rankings and look at what one is best for your personally
