Yeh so
(2x+1)(cos3x)
So an oscillating wave bounded by 2x+1 and -(2x+1) with zeros at 3x=(2n+1)pi/2

I hope you know that this is not a sum. It is a polar equation.

Well, you know what z=2|z|=2 maps to, so what does z2|z| \leq 2 map to?

Try substituting the origin O (0, 0) to see where it maps to. It works as a nice test to see where the region lies. Zacken's method is probably more formal but I thought I'd show you a quick alternative as well

When finding the area of R2 why do we integrate equation 2?

What is wrong with integrating equation 1 with limits pie/2 and pie/6

Hey mate, sorry for the late reply. Not many tbh, find that most of the questions are v similar so not much practice needed. Hardest part for me are transformation questions!
