Londoners - I need your help!

Long time lurker, first time poster.

I have a job interview in 2 months time in London (where I have never been before in my life). I live so far away I will need to stay over, but I have no idea about locations or how long it takes to get places. The interview is in Canary Wharf, but a quick google seems to show it's full of apartments... and not really a place to stay for one night.

Is it possible to stay in Canary Wharf/ would I be better off somewhere else nearby?

Thanks in advance.

Take a look on airbnb

£31 for 1 night if you don't mind sharing. Not bad ey.
Id personally go for the Four Seasons Canary Wharf - its reasonably priced for a Four Seasons

Sharing is caring. Especially at night, which is dark and full of terrors.
Pretty sure there are places like Premier Inn and Travel Lodge in Canary Wharf which are more than perfect for a one night stay, that's also affordable.
