I'm hoping for 6A*s and 4As as they're my target grades this year, and then ideally I'd like A*A*AA for AS and A*AA for A2 and then hopefully study Law at Cambridge, but if not Cambridge then maybe Manchester because I live in Manchester

You can't get A* at AS level :P
Does anyone have any advise on how to get an A* for AS maths currently struggling majorly 🙈🙈🙈

Pretty much any novelty of sixth form wore away after the first week lmao.

I just want to go to uni!!!

I'm pretty sure the grade doesn't exist! You can usually only get an A* if you get 80% UMS overall and 90% UMS in your A2 units
edit: actually with the new a level reforms your AS grade doesn't count at all towards your final A2 grade so it does't matter anyway

Yeah, I've heard that all the enjoyment is non-existent after the first half-term or so

It's during the first week and you're like "wow I'm really enjoying this, this is so interesting". Then 3 weeks later when you've covered a fair chunk of the course and you realise you're going to have to do an exam on all of this and a whole lot more.

Exams ruin everything...

I'm the only one from both my school and the school we're partnered with who chose it so they're not running it. I'm also not moving schools for sixth form because very few places other than the grammar school actually offer it near me and those that do are on the other side of the city :s-smilie:

What if I'm only planning on taking 3? Is that not enough?

Most top universities require a 4th AS level if you are planning to aim high. You can always drop it in A2.
