I don't think there is an official thread! I looked for one for ages but came across this, so I suppose this should be the official thread? :dontknow:

I don't mind making a thread with helpful links, past papers ect if demand exists for it but this thread does seem to be the only thing going for A2 politics. AS on the other hand seems to have a really good thread

Yeah I thought the AS thread seemed really useful and active too. I don't think there are many people doing A2 ideologies (who are active) on here, though?
Nonetheless, perhaps creating an official A2 ideologies thread will be useful, it might attract more users? I can create it, or you can if you wish.

if you look at the past papers you can see that a lot of questions are repeat. Now that the 2015 paper is out i am gonna see what might come up this year lol

And not only that, the question templates are often quite similar (e.g. single doctrine, tension between ideologies, internally coherent, etcetera). Saying that, still tricky to revise for.
I wish I was better at predictions. :moon:

Gosh yeah I have given up on socialism too, I know I said I would do all ideologies but NOT the socialism 45 markers. :K: Might have to do a bit on the 15 markers for socialism though.
Yes, doing unit 1 politics. Nope not yet!

It shouldn't be hard, I've tried solving my time issues so all should be good.

I'm taking a break from revision right now so I don't mind doing it, I'll make it a thread for all of the A2 topics but I'll put some emphasis on ideologies since that's what most people seem to be studying

That sounds like a great idea, good of you to do that. :h:

Would you mind tagging me when you've created it? I would love to see it. And perhaps @noey123?

Me too please  x
I've been revising for months and I still know nothing!!! help

Yeah I'm pretty much in the same position, as is everyone I speak to! But my best tip would be to familiarise yourself with the exam question terminology then consolidate your notes to reflect this. This will probably work because the questions seem to all be set in a template of sorts? :afraid:

Are there any particular questions/topics you're struggling with?

I've been revising for months and still hardly know anything!!! any tips?? or any predictions??

I cannot profess to being an expert, I still hardly have a grip on the subject myself. All I can recommend is practising exam questions, really. :colondollar:
Super stressed ! Have no clue how I'm going to do this ! Anybody as clueless as me ?

I believe in terms of unit 3 ,Anarchism will come up for 45 marker and in terms of Unit 4 ,Nationalism but don't know about the rest. Also, last year they gave some nasty questions which never came up before

For instance, In what sense do anarchists hold a positive view of human nature?
As far as I'm concerned this hasn't come up before :afraid:
