Hey!
I'm having a hard time understanding why these two questions have these answers.
First question deals with pV=nRT so I don't get why pV wouldn't be constant.Second question, I don't get why transverse waves only occur in solids.
1) Consider an isobaric process in ideal gas. Identify the incorrect equation:
- p = const.
- V⁄T = const.
- V1/T1 = V2/T2
- pV = const. (correct)
2) The transverse mechanical wave motion can occur
- only in gases
- only in liquids
- only in solids (correct)
- in gases and liquids
Any help would be appreciated!
