Just wondering if anyone knows what the average interview score is to be on reserve/offer i.e. previous years? I'm guessing it has to be pretty high? Thanks!

I believe the consensus last year was that around 40/50 upwards got an offer, though it varied between specialisms obviously. I think for some that had loads of places e.g. med phys that people managed to get offers with ~35.
How is it out for 50? I thought it was out of 25! Thanks anyone who can shed light!

4 stations, 2 interviewers per station, each scores you out of 5 = max of 40 from the stations.
Then again for communication, each person scores you out of 5 = max 40, this gets divided by 4 to give you average communication mark out of 10.
Ah I see - thank you for the explanation, that makes a lot of sense!!
I thought it was max score of 80 - 40 for the four stations and 40 for communication?
Good luck to everyone with cardiac science interviews on Monday and Tuesday. I'm there on Tuesday so might see some of you guys there 😀. Also if anyone is going to be there for the respiratory interview on Wednesday I'll probs see you there too 😊
Good luck everyone on the final week of interviews
Good luck everyone, it is very nerve racking, feel like I've been waiting forever - I have only just come across this feed really but it has been really useful!! Thanks everyone!

Be yourself, don't try and overthink the questions.
Smile and keep talking (but not gibberish).
Normal sort of interview stuff.
Hey, so with the preferences form we didn't have to actively submit it or anything did we, just put them in order and then leave them?

EDIT: Also, does anyone know how it works if you have interviews for 2 specialisms. If (and it's a BIG if) you do well enough in both do you actually get offers from both, or do you just get an offer from what you put down as your first preference? Not sure how it will work - though as I say, it is probably pretty unlikely I'll have to worry about it!!!

wow the interviews are not that bad, I found the interviewers quite friendly. I wasted too much time revising the cardiac physiology (just a hint). good luck
Its the general science I am terrified for!! I can't even imagine what they could hit me with haha! Congrats to everyone who has got through the interviews!
Hello everyone!

I have become slightly obsessed with checking the status of my oriel interview and every single time it says "interview (booked)" (I AM LOSING MY MIND). I was just wondering, for those who have received an "interview (complete)" or "interview unsuccessful", how long did it take for it to change after your interview?

Thank you and good luck everyone awaiting offers or still to have an interview!
Has anyone actually had the interview unsuccessful status? And it took about 2 weeks after interview to change from interview (booked).

Although I think they did loads in a big batch I think that when we found out some had been waiting a while, others a couple of days. I think so far, I've only seen one person say interview unsuccessful.
