Is dialogue even on the syllabus this year, since we were told it wasn't??:colonhash:

iGCSE is so unpredictable, so you shouldn't rule it out as an option.

We both know that I'm not allowed to tell you. I'll give you a bit of advice though - for the first time in like 10 years (or however long this exam has been around), the answer is ambiguous for question 1. There are two-three possible answers for your response, so don't be worried when you find out that you and your friends have written different answers. In my school, around 75% got the same response, 20% the other and 5% the other.

Just remember, it doesn't matter which answer you write - justify your answer, and you'll be fine

Read my answer above. Also, I'm in Hong Kong, so I'm ahead of you guys in terms of time.
Was it a letter? Please don't be a newspaper one.

Time to go practice the letter based questions, also, ambiguity? Are you sure that's actually true?

Yeah, the extract is pretty open-ended. You'll see when you do the exam. Good luck!

Right, I'm just confused as to how a letter based answer could be ambiguous/vague.
Formal/Informal based?
