I second that. They were at the pupillage fair as far as I know and they are known to offer 2 pupillages per year.

Not sure what the consequences are though.

Sets only have to advertise places on the gateway for 2 weeks. Provided they keep it up there for this period of time, they are free to remove it from the listings afterwards.

Has anyone had confirmation from 1kbw of receipt?
Let the waiting and perma-refreshing of TSR and e-mail begin!

Just had an email from Landmark confirming receipt of my application. Apparently the assessment day is going to be held on 26 May. The day before my last exam of the GDL. AWESOME!!!! Stress levels already rising..... Good luck, everyone!
I hope everyone is relieved now that the gateway applications have closed... now we all just have to wait in eager anticipation.
Could anyone else who interviewed with 4KBW please let me know if you have heard back at all? Three weeks running they have told me that we will be given a final decision "by the end of the week" and I am still to hear a peep.

I really just had a 'blonde' moment, I have only just realised that there is more than one 4KBW

Anyone else get an interview for Brick Court's assessed mini? I applied for their 2018 pupillages.

I interviewed for a mini with them a few months ago

On a slightly unrelated note, I think this thread is a good place to notify people of a great opportunity for those searching for pupillage.

Gerard McDermott QC is a leading silk specialising in high value catastrophic injury claims and he is recruiting for a Legal Assistant to support his practice. It's a full time role based in Greater Manchester.

I've been doing this job for over a year now and believe it played a big part in getting pupillage last summer - this vacancy is for my replacement as I leave to start in September. Almost all of Gerard's assistants obtained pupillage (one went on to get a TC).

The advert can be found here: http://www.mcdermottqc.co.uk/wp-content/uploads/2016/05/Legal-Assistant-Vacancy.pdf

Feel free to PM me if you would like to know more, or my contact details are on the advert.

Apologies for hijacking the thread! Best of luck to you all.

What was it like if you don't mind me asking?

Couple of cv questions and an ethical dilemma was a very short interview, 10 minutes at the very most.

Nothing.

I didn't even get a confirmation from them, so I'm starting to think my application didn't get through the system.
Hi guys - this is my first year applying for pupillage and I was wondering if someone could could explain what shortlisted means on gateway? Does it just mean under consideration? What will it change to if I progress to interview?

Thanks
