Saddest, most upsetting and depressing movie you've watched

Scroll to see replies

A Walk to Remember. Stand by Me. Love Story. Schindler's List. The Green Mile. Forrest Gump. Shawshank Redemption.

Look for old, old Hollywood. Charles Chaplin 'City Lights' from 1931 is a tear jerker.

Modern movies don't have the allure of the old.

Really great actors in that film

Yes it was superb, Steve McQueen will continue to make incredible stories I have no doubt, with Fassbender his DiCaprio.
None of this comedy films mentioned prior have ANYTHING on requiem for a dream. Do not watch if you value your happiness(now i am sad just thinking about it)
Bambi :frown:

the ending was ****ed up especially that scene with those two girls :O
Eden I found really depressing because although she escaped the underground sex ring, a lot of girls are stuck there as we speak being made to do awful things. :frown:
Believe it or not Winnie the Pooh's Heffelump movie is the only film to make me cry :'S Wish I was joking...
I'm surprised nobody mentioned Requiem for a Dream on the first page
Full Metal Jacket

I'm not one for sad movies; Horrors for me
