So, what was the main issue? The fact that these people were different to you (e.g. Different hobbies/behaviour), different age gap, or just simply you didn't have the courage to hang out with them? (shy)I'm in similar situation atm. Although it's college. You may be lost cause already but you can still help me by answering questions. No nightcore this time. Posted from TSR Mobile
Just was too shy, I guess. So to learn fromy mistakes talk to everyone!!! Even if one the first day people aren't particularly kind to you, just say hey! And don't walk off because you feel the convo may get awkward. Awkward silence is better than not knowing what could have happened. Also make friends with someone on the SU as they will be able to tell you when cool events happen. mY uni was pretty bad at telling us when cool events / major social events were to happen. Also 3rd year is not a good year to start making friends. Societies are nice but are not what they are always cracked up to be, don't rely on societies alone to make friends, unless your able to click with people the first time you meet.

You've been in university for few years now, why do you think you haven't learned anything useful? I'm sure there was something that you'll be able to demonstrate when the right moment comes.

"you're attending university to learn something, not to socialise" - that's what most people would say, so don't feel bad about not befriending others and focus on finishing your degree.

Also, have you been working in part/full time employment before?

It looks like you have low self-confidence when it comes to people. Have you ever considered working in an environment where you can actually communicate with other people? This will surely help you develop some skills, when it will come to applying for your dream job (example) as well as initiating conversation with others will become more enjoyable rather than a chore.

So I'm feeling lonely again.

I've been trying to take everyday as it comes and not think about the future but I know at the end of this work and after graduation I will be totally alone (romance wise and friendship wise).

Although I did meet many people at uni, I never made any friends which is really depressing considering the fact uni is supposed to be the time of your life.

I really don't know how to think more positively about this, I din't feel I could ask to meet up with people i know as we aren't close, as they were basically just people I knew from class.

I never formed close friendships at uni and it just sucks... plus on top of that I really don't know what to do about jobs in the future...

Im not sure I'll be able to even find a job, as I don't think uni really helped me develop my skills.

It just looks like I'm doomed for loneliness
