Has anybody heard anything back for neurophysiology yet?

I just got an interview complete status - I don't think that means anything other than you've attended the interview and met the minimum requirements. Mine was last Wednesday. Have you?

I'm thinking that the reason why they can't issue offers and work out who is unsuccessful/reserve so easily, even after they scored the applicants and know their rank in a specialism, is because many people chose two specialisms. For example I'm waiting to hear for Clinical Bioinformatics (physical sciences), if a few of the top applicants chose Medical physics as their first option, then they won't know if they will be taking up Clinical Bioinf spaces until the rank for Medical physics is finalized. But some of the top applicants for medical physics might have chosen another specialism as their first choice.... and so on..... So really, to make offers and decide who is on reserve they probably need all the specialisms to have been ranked, hence the wait!

lol trying to keep my mind from overthinking but obviously not working

I'm not sure that is how it works. I think if you have two specialisms and are successful then you get 2 offers, then once you reject one of those offers and accept the other than that place becomes available and is offered to someone on the reserve list. Which specialism you put down as first/second preference apparently has no bearing on your offer.

That makes sense. So what is taking so long??
Maybe because they said w/c may 9th, they want to stick with that and hence no offers today, just unsuccessfuls.
A really bizzare way of doing it though, I hope I don't get an oriel email today! Don't think I've seen any unsuccessfuls for Genomics so far.

My interview was at 11:15 and my status is still complete too.

Mine too  So we have met. Let me know if you get some updates..
They might be taking along time because some applicants may have the same score and hence ranked the same. So they need to differentiate between the two applicants somehow ... maybe through the aptitude tests or written application.

Just a speculation... im incredible nervous but i doubt the rest of us will hear anything until monday as its almost 5pm
Had interview complete, just changed to interview unsuccessful.

Medical Physics, first try

Is the final ranking based on only the interview scores or does it take the shortlisting score in account too?
