Yeah, it's incredible that anyone would take this as valid evidence. Not only is it based on media reports instead of actual crime stats, but it also includes "alleged" media reports. It really demonstrates how desperate people are to confirm their beliefs, and how far they'll go to twist the truth.

Demonstrably false. Legal definitions, and how cases are handled, vary widely across countries which makes it difficult to compare rape statistics.

A much better interpretation of this statistic is how Sweden has a high rate of reported rape than any other country in Europe.

So stats can be manipulated therefore they should be disregarded entirely? If you have an issue with stats the onus is on you to prove it.

1) Didn't claim stats "should be disregarded entirely"

2) Nowhere have I claimed Sweden's rape rate methodology is an issue. What I said is, and this is not an opinion, the legal definition and criminal procedure for rapes in Sweden is vastly different and cannot be meaningfully compared with the rape statistics of say Romania or Mongolia.
