it already has dissolved in dilute solution so there's no point (oh and to save cost) but for bromine concentrated ammonia solution is used coz it doesnt dissolve in dilute solution :smile:

What should be done to make sure that all of the washing soda is transferred to the volumetric flask ?

when the measuring apparatus is used twice. as in initial and final. eg. thermometer. we take the initial reading and then a final reading. so the error is multiplied by 2
