Naa mate, last year 31 was A and paper was easier, so I think 29 is A

Last year was june 2015,A was at 30

Worst part is, I spent so much time on titration. :frown:

Last year it was 33/50 for an A, and I felt last year's paper was easier than today's.

Exatly
I hope grade boundaries will be low
It wasn't that hard,Just different so the grade boundaries should be 30-35

How so?
1.65/32=Ans 1
Change=Energy/Ans 1=Ans 2

Yh that what I did, but what did u get for heat capacity change thing, I mean what did u use for water mass?

What did you guys wrtie in that question in which we had to convert G TO F?
I wrote that reagent = potassium hydroxide
Condition = alcoholic

The reagent is alcoholic potassium hydroxide, but the condition I think is heating. Not too sure about the condition.

I don't think it will be higher than last year's paper tbh.

I wrote Potassium dichromate and sulphuric acid for reagent and Reflux for condition
And what was the test for water ?
What did you guys put about the bonds and the trend with the number of carbons and enthalpy change?

Uhh the mass of water? I used Something + water=idk what value(lets called this X)
Something=Y
So i did X-Y=Mass of water.
I think I got the enery change 27### joules I don't remember the last 3 digits

I wrote something really stupid.

But the actual answer is cobalt chloride paper which changes from blue to pink.
Or it puts out a lighted splint.

Actually you had to convert a halogenoalkane to an ALKENE so potassium hydroxide in alcoholic cond will be used. This is not OXIDATION I'm afraid.

Nope,It was alc. KOH and condition I wrote Reflux/Heat with alc. KOH

test: Anhydrous copper (II) sulfate
Result: Turns white to blue

I wrote something about cobalt chloride and i dont even remember :V

You could also use anhydrous copper (ii) sulphate right?

i got like 20.277 kj , I divided it by # of moles which is 0.0515625

got answer 393-
Yeah I wrote a stupid test for water,I couldn't remember what you were supposed to react it with.So I just wrote react with Mg,Gas produced will make a pop sound when reacted with oxygen.
Anyways we still have unit 1 and 2. Best of luck everybody.
I also have Physics unit 3 tomorrow :frown:
