How did you come to these conclusions may I ask?
A lady on youtube has predicted this:

C1

Limestone

Polymers

Miller-Urey

Structure of Earth

P1

Energy transfer

Renewable energy

Big bang --> red shift, doppler effect

Waves

Power stations

But tbh I'm just going to cover everything anyway

I think 6 markers for core science paper 1 (on the 17th) could be:
How drugs are tested
Reflex actions
Crude Oil
Heat Transfer
What do you guys think? (paper 1 only)

Yepp!

Maybe genetic modification?

PLEASE explain what the doppler effect & redshift are! I've been looking everywhere and don't understand

I think this is basically what it is:

object moves away from observer: light waves stretch out so the wavelength becomes bigger
object moves towards observer: light waves squash so the wavelength becomes shorterThe wavelength affects the colour of the light (red has longest wavelength and violet has the shortest)

By looking at previous past papers and identifying the patterns of questions and topics they included. Also, by looking at the examiners report to see what the examiners thought the students didn't do so well on. This makes it likely that they will include those topics on the this years exams and next years too see if their teachers have taught them the new stuff that students didn't do so well on last year.

Are you doing triple or double science? So Unit 1 or unit 5&6?

Double science, unit one.
B1, P1 & C1.

Which lady? That's a load of rubbish!! Examiners can test you on whatever they want!!

Having said that, MY PREDICTION IS MENSTRUAL CYCLE ON Tuesday, not been in the paper in a while.

Also I'm sure that structure of the earth came up last year...

Oh so you're a year 10? Are you doing 2 core papers that contain all 3 science in? I'm doing double aswell, but I'm a year 11 and I'm re-sitting it from laast year. I got a B last year, but want an A aha.
Do you know if the re-sit paper is the same as the GCSE core you're doing?

Is this doppler effect?

Basically
Enzyme is used to cut gene for insulin from DNA
Enzyme is used to cut plasmid out of the bacterial cell and insert insulin gene into bacterial cell. Allow the insulin to reproduce and it can be harvested.

Do you know what the miller-urey experiment is? Thanks!
