My friend just phoned the DBS people to chase up her DBS (not related to this) and was told they are taking on average 18 weeks to process at the minute. 😱😱

I had a DBS check very recently and it came back in less than a week.
Well all the acceptances/declines should now be in.

Hopefully in the next week or so we'll find out the dates for the June welcome event, and those on the reserve list will start to get offered places.
Strange, yesterday and today they posted a message on the Facebook page stating that they would be starting the process of offering any available places to other candidates/those on reserve however they now seem to have deleted these posts.

I noticed this too.

I'm glad as I was half convinced I must have dreamt it! Just seems bizarre to me, I'm guessing there has been a delay but why not just post that rather than try and hide that they posted it in the first place.

It was probably a mistake. I expect they'll make a clarification once whoever is in control of the Facebook page knows what's up.

Hello from an Edinburgh-based girl. Could someone send me the link to the Facebook group, please?

Hi just wondering if anyone who attended the assessment centre but sadly failed has heard anything in respect of O/HO roles?
Just been offered a revised location, to my higher preference of London.

Just a FYI, If anything is still waiting for updates...
Has anyone on the reserve list been contacted yet?

Thanks for posting this as I am sat waiting/hoping for the same thing to happen.

Can I just ask:
A. Did you reject your first offer or did you accept and have fortunately been offered your higher preference?

Also, when you say 'higher preference':
B. Was London your first choice?
C. If it wasn't, how many places better than your first offer was it?
D. If it wasn't your first choice - do you know if you are still in with getting your first choice, should that come available?

Apologies for the blitz of questions, any reply much appreciated.

Hi there,

A) I accepted my original offer, but I requested in my response to be put on a waiting list for London locations.

B & C) Central London was my first choice, I got greater - my second choice.

D) I'm assuming this is the final offer, though I actually prefer Croydon than central so am extremely pleased with the offer.

Hope this helps.
Does anyone know where the Manchester office is?

That's excellent thanks very much, I also accepted a subsequent choice so its pleasing to know that 'dreams can come true'
I've just had an email potentially offerings my an Officer role. I scored highly enough to pass stage 2 but didn't score highly enough to get to the assessment centre.

I've also just received this email and am a bit confused! It talks about an 11th April email - I didn't get an email on this date...

Plus it's been so long since they initially rejected me that I can't really remember anything about it!
Hi
Does any one know HMRC recruitment's phone number?
Sent them emails ages ago, but never had reply.
I want to defer my offer to next year entry as I found myself pregnant since the AC. Want to know the procedures for deferring, and so that my spot could potentially go to someone who's on the waiting list

We have a comedy genius over here!

I have also been offered a place on TSP in Glasgow. If someone could send me a link to the facebook group, then that would be great.

Just got this email too - definitely did not get an email on 11th April.

Tried to reply but the email address seems to be wrong - anyone know the correct one?
