Its the 2nd last question from Paper 2 2016 Nat 5

I may be incorrect but isn't the final answer 4.8 + 6.6 (Not +9 as shown in the video).
Isn't it the radius of the circle which is from the centre to the circumference so it should be 6.6, right ?

How many marks would I get for the question at the end of paper 2

I wrote 6²+3²-2x6x3xcos(90)
Root45
Then 6.7082 and rounded to 7 by accident


when the correct way was
6²+10²-2x6x10xcos(3/4)
root46 then 6.782 rounded to 6.8?
Awful! My class had no teacher for three and a half months. Only knew how to do a couple of questions in both papers

Possibly 1 for correct form of cosine rule, and you won't be penalised twice for premature rounding.
So 1-2 probably

7 was the right answer! Unfortunately i realised that as soon as i left the exam hall (WHY??!!??) i DID SOMETHING SILLY AND GOT 2ROOT 10 but yeah, 7 was the right answer :smile:
