Need ASAP Help on GCSE MATHS QUESTION!

Need help:
Am I doing it right?

I did the quadratic equations and got X=-11.5/12 and used the latter and subsituted and used alternate segment theorem and stuff:

Where did you get this question from. Have you go anymore circle theorem proof questions? I need to learn these.
Actually it wasn't too bad. Yes, nearly there. If ADX is a straight, then the supplementary angles CDA and CDX must sum to 180 degrees. As you have solved for the values of x and y correctly, all you need to do now is to show that CDA + CDX = 180 degrees.

(y² -15y +90) + (x² -70) = 180 degrees.

Also I think this question would be a QWC (Quality of Written Communication) meaning you would have you give reasons each step of the way.

I got it from a 'Grade 9' tough paper.

Thanks a lot! I didn't put a lot of reasons as I quickly had to do it on Paint.

Also, what grade would this be - as it's very hard even for the New GCSE standard
