AQA B1 tomorrow - limiting factors?

Does anybody know if limiting factors are part of the syllabus tomorrow?

I'm sure limiting factors is apart of B2, went over it the other day.
you may have to recall for them for photosynthesis, not 100% sure though

Nope limiting factors is a part of unit 2 bio. Check specification just to be certain...

haha no probs :smile: Bio 1 is pretty much basics. Just learn the processes involved and you'll be fine.

Yes you do, its B1.1.2 and the spec states:

c) The body has different ways of protecting itselfagainst pathogens.

d) White blood cells help to defend against pathogens by:
ingesting pathogens
producing antibodies, which destroy particularbacteria or viruses
producing antitoxins, which counteract the toxinsreleased by the pathogens.

e) The immune system of the body produces specificantibodies to kill a particular pathogen. This leads toimmunity from that pathogen. In some cases, deador inactivated pathogens stimulate antibodyproduction. If a large proportion of the populationis immune to a pathogen, the spread of thepathogen is very much reduced.

Yea i got that. thank you! What i really meant was about the skin, mucus etc, or does that come under OCR??!! i just seem to end up learning so much not on the syllabus

Pretty sure it's not on the syllabus, but knowing it definitely won't hurt. If it comes up as a 6 marker then you could easily mention it.
Nope it's in B2
