How to put money in bank account?

Hello,

Ive put money in my savings bank account before, I go into the back, give them the money and they stamp my bank book.

But, I've just got a current account which came with a debit card but no book, so I'm not sure how to put money in and have it stamped or whatever they do?

You fill in a giro slip.
Go to the bank and ask the cashier.
when I put cash into a friend's account, i fill in a slip with her name/ac number, and amount.

When I do cash to my ac. I just hand over the cash and my card goes into a reader as id.
PIN to allow access, the teller does stuff, and then I PIN again after checking.
