You forgot to use brackets, doing the division gets you 0.66667, multiply by 100 after you get 67%

No I did bidmas haha I still get 0.66

38 is probaby a bit too low -- maybe 42?

Likely - I think the rest are pretty accurate though.

What was the question about alcoholic rats which some people are on about?

I have no idea! I think it was just information- it wasn't actually a question

The neurone speed would of been 50/80 so 0.06. X that by 100 you get 60%

80/50 - wrong way round
Speed = distance/time

You did speed = time/distance
well i failed that paper

I am afraid you would get no marks as you would have to 67% for 1 mark and for two it was 0.67

I multiplied it by 100 and still got 0.6 recurring
The last question about indicator organisms, I put stonefly nymph which lives in high level dissolved oxygen and for similar I put invertebrate animals? What about everyone else?

oh ok, thx. I was worried I'd missed a page out!
What does the definition of an "independent company" have to do with Biology? Honestly, that biology exam was the worst. Defence against diseases, menstrual cycle, plant hormones and a bunch of other stuff I revised for didn't come up :angry:I'm hoping to have gotten a B, maybe high C. I looked at the unofficial mark scheme and I've got around 26/27 marks so far (but I know it's not accurate, just a rough idea)
(edited 7 years ago)
It will same as alway 50 marks is an A* as that is UMS of 90% .

I got 0.666 whoops for the malaria one

Posted from TSR Mobile

Yeah! That what I got as well, but i rounded it off to 0.67% though
for the last question I put invertebrates, is that right?
Does anyone remember the order of the boxes on the first question, I think I ticked the wrong one
the percentage of people that died from malaria was 0.6%

what was the answer to making GM Mosquitos
Would this be correct if I put 'A company which tests the drug and puts it through different clinical trials' for the 'What is an independent company?' question.
What do you think the grade boundaries will be i hope its like the 2014 grade boundaries

I don't know but sounds good! I put a co2 data logger hahaha

Independent company would be unaffiliated with the drug company

Legal, recreational

Boys drink more beer, lager, cider than girls, girls drink more of everything else

It's too small a sample size

Fat - store of energy and warmth
Carbs/sugars - used for energy through respiration
Proteins - growth, repair of cells, replacement of old ones
Fibre - used to aid digestion

Skin is sense organ for spinal cord

80/50 = 1.6 for neurone speed

That's jumbled up - what did ya get for the horses one

For the six marker:
Ther are seven food groups: carbs, fats, protein, minerals, vitamins, fibre and water.
One was already given (minerals) so id presume the 6 left would be one for each mark - name and explanation.

Carbs - provide energy
Fats - store energy, insulate us, protect vital organs
Protein - build and repair tissues such as bones and muscle
Vitamins - general health
Fibre - regular bowel movement
Water - maintain fluid level, regulate body temperature

Yes those GBs are totally u realistic. I personally feel the grade boundaries should be slightly lower this year compared to last year so should be around 45 for an A*

That would be ****ing lovely
